when i saw
The Joker on the magazine rack, i immediately knew i had to buy at least one magazine containing him, and i picked
FIRST because it has all the gory details on Joker. my mum supportingly bought it for me and currently i can't wait to read the ten pages dedicated to the Joker himself and the other characters of
The Dark Knight. it is probably the most anticipated movie of the year since i've been hearing of it when the sequel was announced. sneaks were already out on youtube way before this year. i just caught the recent trailer and i'm sorry to say but the theatrical trailer is probably the one that put the interest in me for both The Joker and The Dark Knight.
17 July 2008; can't wait!
the above mentioned my mum, whom i have to say has been greatly supportive recently regarding my life choices of entering fsv. i was surprised how well she seems to take things in stride regarding my course and it seems now she understand my choices despite not favouring it initially. it is definitely satisfactory when your mum understands what you want in life and i'm happy that my dad has been always willing to help me out and support in what i do. i guess that's why i respect my parents so much no matter how annoying i find they are occasionally and how sometimes i filter out their naggings.
costfest 2008 was actually pretty impressive this year. there were some repeats, (which seems to be a common trait) but all in all it was about a thousand times better than last year. i think it helped that i went on the second day instead of the first where there were more activities.
the most impressive costume of all, i have to say was
Iron Man. the suit was almost identical to the original one where there were lights at the correct places. there was a nice touched up of police surrounding it acting as a body guard and some play time soldiers around it to act as the terrorist exactly alike the movie. i was highly impressed and took a number of photos of it to show it to my brother who went like 'wow!'
after stuffing myself with a full meal buffet, i have to say that this was probably one of the more enjoyable days of my life -which shows how much life i have- but it was great and played my mind at rest.
